Phygitals operates as a global marketplace integrating physical and digital collectibles on the Solana blockchain. Following a "Digital Packs, Physical Cards" model, each NFT corresponds one-to-one with a real, physical card. The platform has tokenized over 60,000 cards, processed more than 500,000 RWA transactions, and recorded roughly $149 million in cumulative gacha spending plus over $290 million in marketplace transaction volume. In April 2026 Phygitals launched a storefront on Fanatics Collect with cross-listing, letting mainstream collectors buy tokenized cards without a crypto wallet. It supports one of the widest category ranges in the field: Pokémon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dragon Ball, Riftbound and four sports (basketball, baseball, football and soccer), including machines that mix several sports in one pool.
How It Works
Users purchase and open digital packs to reveal cards, with each digital card (NFT) backed 1:1 by a physical card. Physical cards are stored in secure, climate-controlled, and insured vaulting facilities. Users can hold, trade, or sell cards back to Phygitals at a rate set per machine, most commonly 85% or 90% of fair market value, with some machines at 92% and a set of them at a full 100%. To redeem the physical card, the NFT is burned and the card is shipped. The platform uses Solana's cryptographic verification to link physical cards to their digital twins, ensuring authenticity and proof of ownership.
