Rip Cars is a Solana gacha for die-cast cars rather than trading cards: you open a USDC pack and win a real Hot Wheels held in their vault, minted to your wallet as a Metaplex Core NFT. The catalog is Hot Wheels end to end, Car Culture, Mainline, RLC, Boulevard, Fast & Furious and Formula 1 castings, with Treasure Hunts, Super Treasure Hunts and Chase cars as the top tiers. It is unusually open about its own numbers: every machine publishes its tier odds, the value band of each tier and its expected value, both the target and the figure recomputed from what is actually left in the pool, and the whole unpulled pool is public car by car.
How It Works
You sign in with an email or social login (a wallet is created for you) and buy a pack in USDC. Opening it rolls an ECVRF draw whose proof is committed on chain, and the car is transferred to your wallet; the proof can be replayed afterwards against the on-chain commitment, so the result is checkable rather than merely promised. Each car then has three possible ends: keep it, sell it back to the vault at 90% of its recorded value as a single atomic swap (car to the vault, USDC to you), or burn the NFT to redeem the physical car and have it shipped to you. Spending earns one point per dollar, and free-code packs earn points the same way paid ones do.
